The ELCY system maintains limits for import transactions, warning or stopping users from allocation new transactions to those limits as required. It is possible to set the system up to require a limit for each transaction, or to allow transactions to be posted without adding a limit.
All these views can be scheduled to run as reports and emailed out to you.
1. Limit menu
When you select the ELCYLimit tab, a list of limits appears with these options at the top right.
- Limit: Create a new Limit; display the Limit List
- Action: Create a new action; display the Action List
- Schedule: Create a new Schedule (report); display the Schedule List
Any data shown in green is a link button to more detailed information:
- Limit Name: Shows the details of the limit.
- Limit Value: Shows any sub-limits under this limit.
- Limit Utilisation: Shows all transactions under this limit.
- The five buttons underneath display the limits in various ways on the screen.
2. Limit List
The Limit List shows all the current limits in alphabetical order of Limit Bank, their value, utilisation and availability.
3. Limit Sort by Bank
The Limit List shows all the current limits in alphabetical order of Limit Bank, ordered and totalled by committed/uncommitted.
4. Limit Sort by Client
The Limit List shows all the current limits in alphabetical order of Limit Bank with their utilisation split by child clients (where used).
5. Limit Utilisation by Bank
The Limit Utilisation by Bank shows all the current main limits in alphabetical order of Limit Bank, sorted by Issuing Bank, then listing each individual LC/guarantee issued under that limit.
6. Limit Utilisation Details
The Limit Utilisation Details shows all the current main limits in alphabetical order of limit name, sorted by client name, then listing each individual LC/guarantee issued under that limit.
