1. Access the Auction workbench

On the elcyMBP, click on the elcyAUCTION tab, this will bring the user to the ELCY Auction module.

If a bank is invited to bid on an auction, users will receive notifications by email, by the Alert box and can also access a list of auctions by clicking Auction List.  Each Auction has an end date and time, but the corporate can end the Auction early if they wish.

2. View Auction

The auction can be viewed as follows:

 2.1 By Alert – click text under Alert

And click here to view Auction

Or on the Alert screen by clicking text under Reference on the right-hand side, it takes user directly into the transaction.

2.2 Via email - If user is not already logged on to the elcyMBP, by clicking on the link in the email. It will take user to the system log in page and then directly to the transaction once logged in.

Please note that multiple sessions on elcyMBP are not allowed, so trying to access the auction via the email, if the user is already logged in, may result in the user being logged off the system.

2.3 Auction List – User can access the auction via elcyAuction, Auction List. This brings up a full list of all live auctions and the most recent are shown at the top.  You can also search for an auction by clicking on Search and entering what you know e.g., Buyer name, System ref., Issuing bank, etc

Newly arrived auctions will have the status of “Sent to Bank”.

Auction details can then be viewed:

The user then has the option to Make Bid or Decline Bid.
