When an Export LC is sent over the system, it is a transaction and will instantly appear on the elcyMBP Export Workbench in the Export Transaction List.

Export LCs sent via SWIFT can be set up either to automatically create a transaction (as long as the system can read the message sent by the bank) or the new SWIFT message can stay in elcyMBP Export Workbench, SWIFT Inbox until a user is ready to process it and create a transaction. 

Other messages, e.g. amendments, will match immediately to a transaction if at all possible; if not, they also remain on the SWIFT Inbox until processed.

The default is that SWIFT messages remain on the SWIFT Inbox until a user processes them onto the Export Transaction List.  It is recommended that this is done as soon as practical after a message arrives, and that the SWIFT Inbox is usually empty.
